What are 10 good reasons to engage in “community-supported agriculture”?
- To eat healthy, fresh, regional organic vegetables that you know how they were grown.
- Doing this in a community and sharing the work with people who are interested in similar things.
- Learning a lot about food and how it is produced, but also about people and cultures.
- Paying much less for top quality that far exceeds organic standards, but investing time in return.
- To make an ecological contribution through sustainably managed, diverse organic farming.
- To make a political contribution through meaningful co-creation and responsibility for a piece of land.
- Working together to create a beautiful place that is there for everyone and is good for the soul.
- To pursue healthy physical activity that makes sense… unlike going to the gym.
- Gain a network of people through which you can discover new things and often receive support.
- To have a place and an activity that is interesting for the whole family. Children grow into it easily.
